Phoenix Altamirano
Phoenix Altamirano is a youth leader. He enjoys traveling. In 2004, Phoenix traveled to Sydney, Australia where he and Jade Taylor addressed an audience of 800 people at an Interfaith Conference. They spoke about world peace and shared their feelings on the present state of the Earth. He is also a patrol leader in his Boy Scout Troop 279. As his Grandmother has said "living is learning " and he plans to do just that, and will continue learning and traveling all around the world.

Claire Dellar
Claire studied Esthetics in her native France and is a skin care and aroma therapy specialist with over 20 years experience. Experienced in Yoga, the science of breath, reflexology, music therapy and color therapy, to name only a few, Claire loves to help people feel better about themselves. Fascinated by the study of the brain and the biochemistry of emotions and in order to help as much as she can, Claire studies many areas of Quantum Physics. She has also been trained in public speaking and has a solid background in corporate administration. She has been one of CFHD's adminsitrator for several years.

Michael Dellar
Mike is a structural engineer licensed in the United States and in Canada who has over 25 years of experience owning several of his own businesses and in corporate positions primarily in the area of technical marketing and sales. He is currently an associate in a multi-million dollar web development business and speaks fluent French. He has been active in the organization for over 20 years and taken a leadership role to assist in the needs to coordinate and achieve its projected growth. He has provided much of the design work for the buildings constructed to date. He utilizes his tremendous gifts of detail and boundless energy to bring projects to completion. He is a black belt in karate and leads many of the team challenge exercises for Tawah™.

Robbi Gunter
Robbi has been a member of the Learning Center for Human Development Speaker's Team since 1990, a year after she became active in the organization. She taught culinary arts at Centennial College of Arts and Technology in Scarborough, Canada. Her service includes managing the food and beverage aspect of the programs offered by the Center. She is also a freelance writer and an expert in the field of search engine optimization and search engine marketing. She is currently a partner in a retail food business and an internet company.

Maria Jacques
Is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Florida as well as a Certified Addiction Professional and one of the few Certified Gambling Professionals in South Florida. She has worked for over 25 years in the field of Mental Health and Addictions and has established residential and outpatient programs for emotionally disturbed adolescents and their families. She is currently a member of the steering committee for the Gang Prevention Project for Dade County Public Schools and a Consultant as well as maintaining a private practice in Miami.

Steve Jones
Steve has been active with the Learning Center for Human Development since 1987. He has served as facilitator of multicultural and educational programs internationally, and generously donated his skills in leadership, construction and internet security. He has 6 years of experience as a rifleman in the Canadian Armed Forces. He is a physical fitness expert and student of the martial arts, and has over 10 years experience teaching physical education programs to children and adults. He is an instructor for the Tawah Program and volunteers in the Correctional system. He is an ordained minister with the Northern Lights Ministry, and a member of the Speakers Team. His passion is bringing people together in understanding and appreciation of each other's differences. An experienced instructor in building trades and construction arts, Steve works in the Water Restoration Industry.

Tim Jones
Tim is a third generation Californian born in Merced, "The Gateway to Yosemite" (National Park.) in the great San Joaquin valley. Tim graduated from Merced College in 1983. Licensed as a U.S.C.G. Master, he ran an assortment of water sports and pleasure vessels in South Florida including Water Taxi of Ft. Lauderdale and Divers Unlimited. He is an instructor for the Tawah program and has been active with the Learning Center for Human Development since 1996.

Joyce Mollenhauer
Joyce graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1963 from Wellesley Hospital in Toronto, Ontario. She then completed her B.Sc.N. degree at University of Western Ontario. Her nursing career has included experience in teaching, public health, hospice, occupational health, private duty nursing, geriatrics and home health. She is the proud mother of three sons and the delighted grandmother of two grandsons and one granddaughter. Joyce has been active with the Learning Center for Human Development and the Speakers Team since 1987.

Ann Pocaro
After 18 years as a full time wife, homemaker and mother of 6 children, Ann went to work as Clerk for the City Council of her city where she served for 20 years. Ann became licensed as a massage therapist. She has been a Director of the Learning Center for Human Development since 1981 and provides valuable historical perspectives for the programs.

Alannah Ryane
Alannah studied dance at an early age and started teaching jazz and tap at the age of 13. She completed two years at S.A.I.T and graduated with honors from the Cinema, Television and Radio Arts Course. Alannah spent 4 years as a Writer/Producer/Host for Rogers Cable in Canada, interviewing Wayne Gretsky, Alan Thicke, Ken Read and Steve Podborski and then script assisting for the CBC News Final. 1989 saw Alannah producing and promoting 9 films in the Toronto Film Festival including: Atom Egoyan's "Speaking Parts" and Bruce McDonald and Don McKellar's "Roadkill".

Mary Smith
Mary Smith is a business owner and has worked in Internet Technology for 14 years. She has been an active member of the Learning Center for Human Development since 1987 and is a member of the Speaker's Team. She is one of the instructors in the Tawah Youth Leadership Program and tutors in English, Science, History, and Math. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Performance Oboe from the University of Toronto School of Music in 1984 and received her Cecchetti Ballet Elementary level in 1975.

Martha Sperry
Martha attended Hocking College in Southern Ohio where she obtained an Associates Degree in Natural Resources and Wild Life Management after she worked as an occupational therapy assistant, helping psychiatric and physically disabled patients for ten years. She utilizes her education to run a landscaping business and tending to animals. She is particularly gifted at working with horses. She has been active with the Learning Center for Human Development since 1987, and is currently staff at an international retreat center.

Jade Forest Heron Taylor
Jade is one of the leaders of the Tawah Youth Leadersip Program and has traveled extensively around the world with her Grandmother, and has presented to audiences large and small. In Australia, she and Phoenix Altamirano spoke with her Grandmother, Parisha Taylor, to an audience of 800 people about their views of peace and the state of our planet. Jade loves to dance, sing and write. She has studied traditional Danse Oriental, also known as "belly dance" and Irish Step Dancing. She writes poetry, lyrics, short stores and books. She composes lyrics for her songs. She designs and sells her own jewelry.

Veronica West
Veronica was ordained by Sancta Sophia Seminary in 1995. She now ministers through Northern Lights Ministry. She has been an associate with the Learning Center for Human Development since 1997 and is currently the Administrator. She is a partner in the business that offers nutritious and delicious fare, fueling the body for optimium health.
