Pa'Ris'Ha

Pa'Ris'Ha has Native American and European heritage. Pa'Ris'Ha is known as an Elder and addressed as Grandmother. She is a Peacekeeper, and a Wisdom Path Teacher, as well as a business consultant and Mentor.

She is a Spiritual Archeologist. She gives credit to her Native Elders and Global Mentors and teaches in wonderful stories that recall her life experiences using Earth and Sky as the atmosphere and location in each adventure.

Pa'Ris'Ha has been acknowledged as a Tibetan reincarnation of TARA, a Bodhisattva Buddha by Rinpoche Kalu and A Bhutanese Rinpoche T'sering Wangdi. His Holiness of Bhutan ordered a Stupa built for her and has declared her director of his Dharma Center.

Pa'Ris'Ha's accomplishments include keynote speaker in the Parliament of World Religions Centennial Interfaith Program in Chicago with the Dalai Lama and Mother Theresa; in China, a catalyst in bringing Eastern and Western medical professionals together to heal HIV; a popular and often sought after speaker at the University of Physics and the Humanistic Psychology symposia in Bratislava, the Institute of Psychiatry in Moscow, and in Siberia in the former USSR. She was an activist in resolving the Communist Party in the former Czechoslovakia; and was a major player in bringing down the Berlin Wall.

She has been a guest speaker on numerous global TV and radio appearances. She has also hosted her own radio program 'On Eagles Wings' for two years and the show's ratings jumped to the top of the list in three short weeks.

She taught an accredited CEU program at Johns Hopkins School of Nursing on alternative healing practices.

Pa'Ris'Ha was selected by the Algonquin Nation's past Chief and present Elder, William Commanda, to be an Elder on the board of "Elders With No Borders", a global association of Wisdom Keepers committed to preserving the traditional spiritual knowledge and teachings of all indigenous people.

She is a founder of the Yunsai Society, a not-for-profit organization of over one hundred thousand people globally dedicated to promoting interracial and cultural awareness.

She founded The Center For Human Development that has supported education and personal success for thousands of individuals.

Pa'Ris'Ha helped establish the Adena Mystery School, a Mayan project in support of Hunbatz Men and Mayan Elders of the Yucatan. It is named after the ancient people and mound builders of the Ohio Valley whose lands are the present home base of the Yunsai Society.

When asked to introduce herself, she humbly replies,
"This one called Pa'Ris'Ha by The Principal People is a Wife, Mother, Grandmother and an incurable people watcher. I am a child of God, Loving, Serving, Living and Learning in this world."

Deborah Adler
M.F.A in Acting; B.F.A in Theatre Arts; over 30 years as a professional singer-song writer and guitarist; 10 years as Summer Resident Camp staff with Girls Scouts of America and Red Cross Water Safety Instructor and Small Craft Instructor.

Phoenix Altamirano
Phoenix Altamirano is fourteen years old and lives at Friendship Village International Retreat Center in Southeastern Ohio, a facility he helped to build. www.friendshipvillageinternational.com. He enjoys traveling. In 2004, Phoenix traveled to Sydney, Australia where he and Jade Taylor addressed an audience of 800 people at the "Festival of Enlightenment" with their Grandmother Pa’Ris’Ha. They spoke about world peace and shared their feelings on the present state of our home planet Earth. He is also a patrol leader in his Boy Scout Troop 279. As his Grandmother has said "living is learning " and he plans to do just that, and will continue learning and traveling all around the world. He sits on the Chieftains Council of his people.

Da'na'ga'sta
Has a B.A. in psychology (with an emphasis in special education). She has 15 years experience in administering individualized learning programs for children and adults, with an emphasis in stress management and perceptual learning disorders. A VISTA volunteer in Ohio, she also has 10 years of bookkeeping experience for businesses in computer and technology fields, human development, retail marketing, and in the non-profit and for profit sectors.

Claire Dellar
Claire studied Esthetic in her native France and is a skin care and aroma therapy specialist with over 20 years experience. Experienced in Yoga, the science of breath, reflexology, music therapy and color therapy, to name only a few, Claire loves to help people feel better about themselves. Fascinated by the study of the brain and the biochemistry of emotions and in order to help as much as she can, Claire studies many areas of Quantum Physics. She has also been trained in public speaking and has a solid background in corporate administration. She has been one of CFHD's adminsitrator for several years.

Michael Dellar
Mike is a structural engineer licensed in the United States and in Canada who has over 25 years of experience owning several of his own businesses and in corporate positions primarily in the area of technical marketing and sales. He is currently a partner in a multi-million dollar Internet access and web development business and speaks fluent French. He has been active in the organization for over 15 years and taken a leadership role to assist in the needs to coordinate and achieve its projected growth. He has provided much of the design work for the buildings constructed to date. He utilizes his tremendous gifts of detail and boundless energy to bring projects to completion. He is a black belt in karate and leads many of the team challenge exercises for Tawah™.

Bashie English
Was General Manager of a Performing Arts Complex and Managing Director of a Professional Theatre Company. She worked with the renowned Broadway Producer Robert Whitehead at the Kennedy Center on the Tony award Winning Production of Medea. She has worked extensively with young people in theater production and as a mother of two brings hands on experience to the Tawah™ project.

Robbi Gunter
Is a licensed Chef de Cuisine and culinary arts instructor. She received her Certificate of Apprenticeship through the George Brown School of Hospitality, Toronto, Canada in 1983. She taught culinary arts in the Tourism and Administration Program at Centennial College of Applied Arts and Technology, Scarborough, Canada from 1985 to 1989. In total she has worked in the culinary and hospitality industry for 20 years. She currently owns her own line of retail food products, gives private lessons in culinary skills and kitchen management, and is the Food & Beverage Director at a corporate training and retreat center in southeastern Ohio.

Maria Jacques
Is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Florida as well as a Certified Addiction Professional and one of the few Certified Gambling Professionals in South Florida. She has worked for over 25 years in the field of Mental Health and Addictions and has established residential and outpatient programs for emotionally disturbed adolescents and their families. She is currently a member of the steering committee for the Gang Prevention Project for Dade County Public Schools and a Consultant as well as maintaining a private practice in Miami.

Steve Jones
has been active within the Learning Center for Human Development since 1987. He has served as facilitator of multicultural and educational programs internationally, and generously donated his skills in leadership, construction and internet security. He has 6 years of experience as a rifleman in the Canadian Armed Forces. He is a physical fitness expert and student of the martial arts, and has over 10 years experience teaching physical education programs to children and adults. He is an instructor for the Tawah Program and works in the Correctional system. He is an ordained minister with the Northern Lights Ministry, a Breath Therapist, a Nuwati Healer and member of the Speakers Team. His passion is bringing people together in understanding and appreciation of each other's differences. An experienced instructor in building trades and construction arts, Steve works in the Water Restoration Industry.

Tim Jones
is a third generation Californian born in Merced, "The Gateway to Yosemite" (National Park.) in the great San Joaquin valley. Tim graduated from Merced College in 1983. Licensed as a U.S.C.G. Master, he ran an assortment of water sports and pleasure vessels in South Florida including Water Taxi of Ft. Lauderdale and Divers Unlimited. Currently Tim is on resident staff at Friendship Village International Retreat Center of Ohio www.friendshipvillageinternational.com, and relocating soon to Arizona.to help establish a new center there. He is an instructor for the Tawah program. Tim has pursued Spiritual Archeology since 1992 and has been with the Learning Center for Human Development since 1996.

Paige Martin
Has an A.B. Wellesley College and a Juris Doctor degree from Case Western Reserve University. She is a nationally recognized trial lawyer with 29 years experience and practices in Columbus, Ohio. She has represented the Learning Center for Human Development for 20 years. She has trained in issues of neglected, dependent and abused children, and dedicated countless volunteer hours to building the Center's facility and programs. She works closely with the Tawah™ program and helped to shape the program for the juvenile system. In 1998 she completed Gerry Spence's Trial Lawyer's College. Since then she has expanded her practice to include psychodramatic techniques for utilization in personal and professional settings.

Joyce Mollenhauer
graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1963 from Wellesley Hospital in Toronto, Ontario. She then completed her B.Sc.N. degree at University of Western Ontario. Her nursing career has included experience in teaching, public health, hospice, occupational health, private duty nursing, geriatrics and home health. She is the proud mother of three sons and the delighted grandmother of two grandsons. She lives in rural Ohio and is currently employed as an R.N. supervisor at a home health agency which serves 100 clients in their homes. As a member of the Learning Center for Human Development since 1987 she has been an active member of the Speakers' Team. Ann Pocaro
After 18 years as a full time wife, homemaker and mother of 6 children, Ann went to work as Clerk for the City Council of her city where she served for 20 years. Ann became licensed as a massage therapist. She has been a Director of the Learning Center for Human Development since 1981 and provides valuable historical perspectives for the programs.

Alannah Ryane
Studied dance at an early age and started teaching jazz and tap at the age of 13. Completed two years at S.A.I.T graduating with honors from the Cinema, Television and Radio Arts Course. Alannah spent 4 years as a Writer/Producer/Host for Rogers Cable in Canada, interviewing Wayne Gretsky, Alan Thicke, Ken Read and Steve Podborski. Then script assisting for the CBC News Final. 1989 saw Alannah producing and promoting 9 films in the Toronto Film Festival including: Atom Egoyan's "Speaking Parts" and Bruce McDonald and Don McKellar's "Roadkill".

Mary Smith
Mary Smith, a Sun Dancer and Dance Ceremonialist of 15 years with the Learning Center for Human Development and the Yunsai Society, practices Earth Spirituality, is an ordained minister, speaks of herself as a Spiritual Archaeologist, and studies Quantum Nuwati, a way of living fully conscious integrated with the Principals of the Universe. She has studied with Grandmother Pa’Ris’Ha, Elder and the founder of the Learning Center for Human Development, since 1987. Martha Sperry
attended Hocking College in Southern Ohio where she obtained an Associates Degree in Natural Resources and Wild Life Management after she worked as an occupational therapy assistant, helping psychiatric and physically disabled patients for ten years. She utilizes her education to run a landscaping business and tending to animals. She is particularly gifted at working with horses. Martha is an associate of the Yunsai Society where she is recognized as the Rock Lodge Mother. As a Spiritual Archeologist, she has traveled to various traditional cultures which still thrive in Hawaii, Arizona and North Carolina. She has been active with the Learning Center for Human Development since 1987, and is an integral part of the resident staff which maintains Friendship Village International Retreat Center.www.friendshipvillageinternational.com.

Jade Forest Heron Taylor
Received her name in a Cherokee naming ceremony by her Grandmother.She is 15 years old and her heritage includes Cherokee, Irish, British, Italian, Scottish and Jewish lineage. She has traveled extensively around the world with her Grandmother, and has presented to audiences large and small. In Australia, she and Phoenix Altamirano spoke with Grandmother Pa'Ris'Ha to an audience of 800 people about their views of peace and the state of our planet. Jade loves to dance, sing and write. She has studied traditional Danse Oriental, also known as "belly dance". She writes poetry, lyrics, short stores and books. She composes lyrics for her songs. She has begun a fashion design business with her mother, and designs and sells her own jewelry.

Clarity Tritsch
is 16 years old. She is Celtic in lineage. Her favorite colors are silver, purple, and blue. She is home schooled and an entrepreneur who had demonstrated her art in two art shows. She is a member of the Speakers' Team, and has appeared on local radio programs. She loves to read. She is writing a book with her friends. She is a Teen Leader in the Tawah program. Her favorite season is winter. Some of the things she likes best are ice, art, books, water, telling stories, laughing, writing, and singing.

Sharon Williams Tritsch
completed her Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in English at Ohio State University, and an M.A. in English with a writing concentration. She also has an M.A. in English Education and Writing Research, both from Ohio State University. She has an extensive teaching and research background in writing, children's literature, teacher training, student thought processes, curricular design, and program evaluation. Over 15 years of experience in teaching and learning among middle, secondary, and university populations; Lecturer, Department of English, Ohio State University, poet and film maker.

Veronica West
was ordained by Sancta Sophia Seminary in 1995. She now ministers through Northern Lights Ministry. She has been an associate with the Learning Center for Human Development since 1997, and is resident staff at Friendship Village International Retreat and Program Center. She is a partner in the business known as "Americas Harvest" www.americas-harvest.com, which offers nutritious and delicious fare, fueling the body for optimium health.
