To define spiritual enlightenment, let us look first at the word spiritual.
To be spiritual is to be as spirit. Some call spirit, the Supreme Intelligence. Spiritual
enlightenment suggests the knowing of spirit. Spirit being the underlying source of all
things. It is what one would align with to be in harmony. The way of spirit is how one would
wish to live. Everything is energy and energy has movement. The thoughts and actions performed
in one’s life move in harmony or dissonance with the movement of spirit. Spiritual enlightenment
has been described by different people. The following are some examples. The dictionary
describes it as the condition of being informed spiritually. In Buddhism or Hinduism a
blessed state in which the individual transcends desires and suffering and attains Nirvana.
