YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS
Our Youth Leadership program recognizes that the seeds of tomorrow lie in the youth of today. In our Youth Leadership program, called "Tawah", the powers of nature provide the learning environment for inner city troubled youth to discover their inherent leadershipabilities. Our Tawah Youth Leadership program helps unravel the conditioned thinking imposed on our youth by peers, schools, parents and religious organizations. Our Tawah Youth Leadership program recognizes that unraveling the conditioned thinking is a skill that has a high correlation with success in life. To be effective, youth leadership programs take troubled youth at risk and teaches them skills which assist them to integrate back into the community in a positive way. Leadership abilities emerge when a person is able to see there are more choices available to them than they previously believed. Liberation results when youth leadership programs provide a safe environment to experiment with their untapped potential and discover new outcomes and positive results
The Learning Center for Human Development's Tawah Youth Leadership Program draws on the creative arts, through music, theater and art, to gently develop new life experiences that will create tomorrow's leadership profiles. Our "Tawah" Youth Leadership program extends a parallel opportunity for parents to learn leadership skills, which they can use to change their lives through identifying and resolving, programmed thinking which has limited their perceptions of options and contained them into an environment of mediocre living. Youth leadership programs take the troubled youth of today and create an environment where they can emerge with tomorrow's leadership profiles. Whether you are a shy person or an extrovert, whether you have been a leader or not, every exercise gives you an opportunity to test your skills of working and coordinating with others. After immersion into the group psychology, true leaders emerge showing the assimilation of their lessons and their newly acquired skills.
Our "Tawah" Youth Leadership program is the key for inspiring a new vision for our youth and therefore a new and successful future.
